Welcome to our website

Thank you for visiting the Melbourne Anglican Cursillo website.

Cursillo is a movement within the Anglican Church and is open to committed Anglicans. Melbourne Anglican Cursillo serves Jesus Christ by :

  • holding three day weekend courses to introduce Anglicans to the Cursillo method and Melbourne Anglican Cursillo.
  • encouraging development of and participation in small, local prayer and support groups that meet in Christian community
  • nurturing each other on our own spiritual journey
  • encouraging Anglicans to make a commitment to prayer, study and action
  • holding diocesan and national gatherings to develop inter-parish and inter diocesan relationships
  • assisting the Diocese and parishes of Melbourne in the mission of the church.
Both lay and ordained people make up the 1,200 plus membership of Cursillo in the Melbourne Diocese.

Please have a look at the information we offer here and, if we can be of any additional help, please add a request to our prayer list or email us with your questions to questions@melbourneanglicancursillo.com

Episcopal Link

We have had confirmation of the appointment of Bishop Lindsay Urwin as Melbourne Cursillo's new Episcopal Link. We believe that this will be an excellent appointment. Bishop Lindsay, from Christ Church, Brunswick has expressed his delight at the prospect of working closely with Secretariat and Cursillo generally.

We thank God for this answer to the prayers of Cursillistas since the sudden passing of our previous Episcopal Link, Bishop Barbara Darling earlier this year. Graeme Young and Alison Burgess - Co-Lay Directors, Melbourne Anglican Cursillo
